Chambishi Main and West Ore Bodies Automation Project
The mine informatization and automation integrated control system project signed this time includes the "Main and West Ore Bodies Automation and Power Management Upgrade Project" and the "Southeast Ore Bodies Automation and Informatization Integrated Control System Project".
Under the guidance of Prof. Yu Runcang, Senior Consultant Expert of China ENFI (China ENFI Engineering Co., Ltd.) and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), this project is being steadily advanced. It aims to create the first genuinely digital mine project implemented by a Chinese enterprise. Through unified planning of the information system and leveraging China ENFI's proprietary and specialized technologies such as intelligent power distribution and unmanned tramming locomotive control technology, the project will integrate the mine's existing fragmented automation systems and the remote control system for trackless equipment in mining areas. This integration will break down "information silos", provide the mining enterprise with an operation and management platform free of information blind spots, and build an intrinsically safe, advanced mine. It is worth noting that the project data will be connected to the "China Mining Information Collaboration Innovation Center", jointly established by China ENFI and the National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin, to enhance the informatization level of the industry.
Scheduled for commissioning in June 2018, upon completion, this project will further solidify China Minmetals Corporation's (CMC) leading position in China's mining engineering sector and enhance the company's international reputation and brand value.

Belajar lebih banyak >This project, with a total value of US$486 million, involves providing Kazakhstan Copper Corporation with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, including the supply of equipment and materials, equipment installation, and civil construction. The project is for the development of Kazakhstan Copper Corporation's Bozshakol copper ore processing plant. Located in the western part of the Pavlodar Region, Kazakhstan, approximately 230 km from the capital Astana, the site benefits from relatively well-developed infrastructure. The Bozshakol sulfide ore concentrator has an ore processing capacity of 25 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), and the clay ore concentrator has a capacity of 5 Mtpa, resulting in a total combined capacity of 30 Mtpa. The mine is designed for a service life of no less than 40 years.

In July of the same year, the two countries signed the Tagaung Taung Nickel Resource Exploration and Feasibility Study Agreement. In 2009, construction of the nickel mine project broke ground. After more than two years of effort, mine construction was largely completed, and a production commencement ceremony was held on March 27 this year.

Jointly invested by China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (CNMC) and Yunnan Copper Industry Group Co., Ltd., the project was fully constructed by China No.15 Metallurgical Construction Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CNMC. This project represents the largest investment by a Chinese enterprise in Zambia.
