Currently, the construction of the Pakrut Gold Mine project's smelter has also entered its final critical stage, with full-load integrated commissioning scheduled to commence soon. CNMC will continue to advance the development and expansion of the Pakrut Gold Mine project, further expand its investment business in Tajikistan, increase its investment scale in the country, and make new contributions to deepening the traditional friendship between China and Tajikistan.
The Pakrut Gold Mine project is CNMC's first mining project in Central Asia, one of the largest investments by a central State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) in Tajikistan, and a tangible project through which CNMC implements the national "Belt and Road Initiative" strategy. Upon completion and reaching full production capacity, the Pakrut Gold Mine project will produce 3 tons of gold annually and provide over 1,000 local job opportunities.
The mine informatization and automation integrated control system project signed this time includes the "Main and West Ore Bodies Automation and Power Management Upgrade Project" and the "Southeast Ore Bodies Automation and Informatization Integrated Control System Project".
Belajar lebih banyak >This project, with a total value of US$486 million, involves providing Kazakhstan Copper Corporation with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, including the supply of equipment and materials, equipment installation, and civil construction. The project is for the development of Kazakhstan Copper Corporation's Bozshakol copper ore processing plant. Located in the western part of the Pavlodar Region, Kazakhstan, approximately 230 km from the capital Astana, the site benefits from relatively well-developed infrastructure. The Bozshakol sulfide ore concentrator has an ore processing capacity of 25 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), and the clay ore concentrator has a capacity of 5 Mtpa, resulting in a total combined capacity of 30 Mtpa. The mine is designed for a service life of no less than 40 years.
