Pakrut Gold Mine 4000t/d Mineral Processing Project in Tajikistan

The total investment for the China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group's (CNMC) Pakrut Gold Mine project is approximately USD 300 million. This encompasses the construction of the mine, mineral processing plant, smelter, external power supply project, and external road renovation project. Specifically, the investment in the Pakrut Gold Mine's mineral processing plant exceeds USD 20 million. The plant consists of over twenty sub-items, including:

Currently, the construction of the Pakrut Gold Mine project's smelter has also entered its final critical stage, with full-load integrated commissioning scheduled to commence soon. CNMC will continue to advance the development and expansion of the Pakrut Gold Mine project, further expand its investment business in Tajikistan, increase its investment scale in the country, and make new contributions to deepening the traditional friendship between China and Tajikistan.


The Pakrut Gold Mine project is CNMC's first mining project in Central Asia, one of the largest investments by a central State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) in Tajikistan, and a tangible project through which CNMC implements the national "Belt and Road Initiative" strategy. Upon completion and reaching full production capacity, the Pakrut Gold Mine project will produce 3 tons of gold annually and provide over 1,000 local job opportunities.

The Bozshakol sulfide ore concentrator has an ore processing capacity of 25 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), and the clay ore concentrator has a capacity of 5 Mtpa, resulting in a total combined capacity of 30 Mtpa. The mine is designed for a service life of no less than 40 years.
